  5. This is a maintenance release of InterNews to fix a few bugs in version 2.0.1.
  6. 2.0.2a1 expires 1/1/97
  7. There will be more work before an official 2.0.2.
  8.  
  9. There are no new features.
  10.  
  11. These are the bugs that were fixed:

  13. - Would not work with MicroSoft public news site msnews.microsoft.com
  14. - Crash if try to save an article from the archive window.
  15. - If the quote string set in Internet Config System is blank or consists of spaces, we no substitute the standard ">".
  16. - Fixed some bugs in article filtering.

  22. This is a maintenance release of InterNews to fix a few bugs that appeared in version 2.0.
  23. There are no new features.
  24.  
  25. There is one change: the program now expires after 40 days of use unless it is registered.

  27. These are the bugs that were fixed:

  29. - Potential crash when inserting or pasting text in a composition.
  30. - Crash when creating a filter for a very long subject line.
  31. - Crash when showing an article with a very long subject line.
  32. - A timing problem could cause a network error when refreshing newsgroups.
  33. - Cancel and return keys did not work in the confirmation dialog for deleting an article filter.
  34. - The "Mark Selected Topics Read" command was not processing cross-posts correctly.
  35. - Crash when double-click in the filter list window when there where no filters.
  36. - If you run the PPC version on a 68K machine, a sensible alert appears.
  37. - Internet Configuration handling was changed so that the download folder for binaries may come from ICS preferences. Also, if the site default default is to use ICS then user preferences with an ICS option default to true in a new subscription file.
